Email our teamBoekenhoutskloof The Chocolate Block Red Blend: from the Swartland region of South Africa, a Syrah‑led red blend often joined by Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault and a touch of Viognier, presenting intense aromas of blackberry, bramble, violet and spice with hints of olive, white pepper and exotic notes, the palate is medium‑ to full‑bodied with juicy dark fruit, balanced acidity, velvety tannins and a dry, layered finish, alcohol content around 14.5 % ABV, contains sulphites.
Food pairings: Excellent with grilled red meats, braised lamb shanks, pepper‑spiced sausages, slow‑cooked beef stews or rich, earthy mushroom dishes.
