Email our teamRupert & Rothschild Baron Edmond: from the Stellenbosch region in South Africa, a refined Bordeaux‑style red blend dominated by Merlot with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and often a touch of Malbec, showing rich aromas of blackberries, cassis, plum and hints of cedar, fennel and spice, the palate is elegant but structured with smooth, polished tannins, layered dark fruit and a lingering finish, alcohol content around 14 % ABV, contains sulphites.
Food pairings: Pairs beautifully with grilled or pan‑seared beef, slow roasted lamb, venison or hearty stews, rich mushroom dishes or aged hard cheeses.
